Peace of Childhood

When I think about being a child way back then, everything felt so simple and carefree. There were no worries about the future or pressure to be perfect, just pure happiness from playing outside and spending time with friends. As I grow older, I realize how important that kind of peace was for my mental health. Lately, life feels a bit heavier. The pressures of work, school, and responsibilities sometimes leave me feeling overwhelmed and drained. I miss the effortless joy of childhood, the way laughter could fill a whole afternoon and a quiet moment felt like the greatest luxury. Childhood taught me the value of rest, laughter, and living in the moment, lessons I often wish I could carry more fully into my adult life. Sometimes I think we all need to reconnect with our inner child to remind ourselves what true joy and calmness feel like, especially when life gets challenging.
