Going to the gym is not just about building muscles or losing weight; it is also about taking care of your mental health. I actually started going to the gym because I was feeling the pressure of being a student athlete. Balancing training, schoolwork, and personal responsibilities became overwhelming, and I needed a healthy outlet to cope. Every time I work out, I feel like I am releasing all the stress and negativity that I have been carrying. It helps clear my mind and gives me a sense of peace and focus. The gym has become my escape whenever I feel anxious or tired from everything. It reminds me that taking care of my body also means taking care of my mind, and that small progress every day can make a big difference in how I feel inside.
