The light of our team 💙

When I first met Ate Arleigh, we were not that close. She was just one of my teammates, someone I would greet during training but never really talk to beyond that. As time went by, I started to see more of who she really was. She was not just good on the court, she was the kind of person who could make everyone laugh even after the toughest practices. Her energy was contagious, and she made the team feel lighter no matter how exhausting things got. What I did not expect was how she would become someone I could truly lean on. Ate Arleigh is not just funny, she listens deeply. Whenever I am going through something, she is always there, patiently hearing me out and giving advice that actually makes sense. Through her kindness and sincerity, I learned that friendship is not always about how long you have known someone. Sometimes, it is about how they make you feel seen and understood. Ate Arleigh became that kind of friend, the light that keeps our team and my heart grounded.
