Filipino Flavors, Island Feels at Palaway
Palaway Bar and Restaurant β tucked inside Com Laya Resort, this restaurant is such a beautiful spot that captures both the calm of nature and the warmth of Filipino cooking. π΅πβ¨ After a tiring but fun Hundred Islands island-hopping adventure, we stopped by here for lunch β and it was exactly what we needed! π The ambiance is cozy and refreshing, with soft lighting, earthy tones, and those unique round windows giving a perfect view of the greenery outside. πΏ Now for the food (my favorite part!): π² Beef Kansi β a perfect comfort dish! The broth was rich, slightly sour, and full of flavor β a delicious cross between sinigang and bulalo. The beef was fall-off-the-bone tender and incredibly satisfying. π₯ Mahi-Mahi Ceviche β light, fresh, and tangy! The fish was perfectly marinated, balancing the acidity and spice just right. Every bite tasted like summer by the sea. π₯ Sisig Orig β crispy, flavorful, and creamy in all the right ways. It had that smoky aroma and just the right kick of spice β best paired with rice! πΏ Bicolanang Laing β rich, creamy, and authentically spicy! You can really taste the coconut milk and dried taro leaves blending beautifully for that classic Bicolano flavor. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully plated. The servings were generous, and the staff were warm and accommodating β such a relaxing dining experience overall. π If youβre looking for a nice resort to stay in Alaminos and a great spot for lunch or dinner after exploring Hundred Islands, Palaway Bar and Restaurant inside Com Laya Resort is definitely a must-try. πβ¨
