đ Fragments of Love
Love isnât always romanticâsometimes itâs stitched together in the quietest, most thoughtful ways. On my 19th birthday, my best friend gifted me a little âmatchboxâ frame, but instead of matches, it was filled with us: our very first photo together, strawberries, shortcakes, stickers, matcha, kimchi, even Burger King where we used to spend our sunrises in SHS, balancing tables and ourselves through business marketing, the earrings we always matched, our shared love for Marvel, Taylor Swift, astrology and our baby picturesâall the tiny pieces of who I am and who we are. I still canât believe how thoughtful she always is with her giftsâlike she has this secret map of my heart and knows exactly where to go every time. She knows me through and through, and I absolutely love her for it. Itâs a rare kind of love, the kind that even romance canât quite touch. Female friendships are their own kind of magicâspecial, life-changing, and irreplaceable. No man could ever know me the way she does, and this matchbox will always remind me of that: all the little fragments of our love. đŻââïž
