The Magic in the Mundane: About Time

There are movies you watch once, and there are movies that change you. About Time is the latter. My best friend made me watch it, and I’ll never stop being grateful that she did. On the surface, it’s about a man who can relive and change his past—but really, it’s about learning to live. It’s heart-wrenching in the best way, alive and brimming with love. It taught me to see beauty in the everyday—the way the sun rises, the tiny mundane things we often overlook. It reminded me that the magic we keep searching for isn’t “out there” waiting—it’s here, in us. Things are magical because we make them so. Every scene fills me with gratitude. It’s a film that whispers that everything is fleeting, and maybe… that’s not such a bad thing. I highly, highly recommend it—watch it, and you might just come out a different person, softer, more grateful, and more alive <333 Warning: keep tissues nearby, trust me on this one 🥹
