A Flavorful Start to the Day at Antro and The Morning After

Greenhills is full of food spots, but Antro Kitchen & Tap x The Morning Aftercaught our attention with its unique concept, two restaurants sharing one space. Antro offers Mexican and Latin-inspired flavors, while The Morning After focuses on hearty all-day breakfast and comfort food. Perfect for groups who can never decide on just one cuisine. We went there for breakfast and tried the Smoked Bacon Steak and the Cobbler Fish with White Wine Sauce. The bacon steak was a standout: thick-cut, smoky, and savory with a satisfying bite. It felt more like a proper meat dish than your usual breakfast bacon, and it paired well with eggs and rice. The Cobbler Fish with White Wine Sauce was a pleasant surprise. The fish was tender, the sauce was creamy with a subtle tang from the wine, and it made for a lighter, balanced contrast to the richness of the bacon steak. Sharing both dishes gave us the best of both worlds, indulgent and light. The space itself is casual and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that makes it easy to settle in whether you’re with friends or just grabbing a slow breakfast. Portions were generous, and the mix of menu choices from two concepts means there’s always something to match your craving. Overall, our breakfast was satisfying and flavorful. If you find yourself in Greenhills and want a place that offers both variety and comfort, Antro Kitchen & Tap x The Morning After is worth the stop. And yes, I’d definitely come back for that smoked bacon steak. 📍Antro Kitchen & Tap, Greenhills

  1. Cobbler Fish with White Wine Sauce

    Worth it
    Price ₱480

The pan-seared cobbler was served with white wine sauce, fresh beans, cherry tomatoes, and mango fried rice. The fish itself was tender and flavorful, with the white wine sauce adding just the right touch of creaminess. The vegetables on the side gave a fresh crunch that balanced the richness of the dish. What stood out most was the mango fried rice, which tied everything together with a subtle sweetness. Overall, the portions were generous and the flavors made it a dish worth ordering again.

  2. Smoked Bacon Steak

    Not bad
    Price ₱595

The dish is a somewhat common American breakfast featuring pan-seared mahogany wood smoked bacon, served with cucumber salsa, pilaf rice, and eggs of your choice. The smoked bacon was surprisingly tender and juicy, making it easy to cut and chew. The cucumber salsa added a refreshing touch that balanced the richness of the meat. Portion-wise, it can already feel like a big breakfast for some. While it’s a little on the pricey side, the serving size and overall quality make it quite reasonable.
