Filipino Christmas Starts in September

In the Philippines, Christmas is more than just a holiday, it's a season that begins as early as September! Known for having the longest Christmas celebration in the world, Filipinos kick off the festive spirit during the "Ber months" (September to December). As soon as September hits, you'll hear Christmas songs playing in malls, see decorations going up, and feel the joyful buzz in the air. It’s a time for family, food, lights, and faith, stretching the celebration to nearly four magical months. Because in the Philippines, Christmas isn’t just a day, it’s a season of togetherness and joy. And for all the girlies in charge of Christmas decorations this year, here are a few finds to help you *sleigh* the holiday setup, starting with the staple Christmas tree! 🎄✨ Here’s the breakdown of what I found and where to get them: 8ft Christmas Garlands – I got these from Dapitan for ₱1,200. They're super full and festive, perfect for staircases or doorways. 8ft Christmas Tree – I found this on Shopee for just ₱2,198. Some Dapitan stores are selling the same size for ₱3,800, so it was a great deal. Christmas Colored Garlands – I picked these up from Mr. DIY for only ₱74neach. They’re great for adding pops of color and layering on the tree or around the house. Gold Branch and Leaves Bundle (10pcs)n– I bought these at Dapitan for ₱150 per bundle. They add a classy, luxurious touch to any setup, especially with warm lights. If you have any more Christmas Decoration Suggestion, just leave a comment! 🫶✨ Disclaimer: Photo used in this post are mine. Prices may vary depending on location and availability.

  1. 8ft Christmas Tree Sugar Pine

    Not bad
    Price ₱2,198

Branches and leaves are a little thinner than its pictures posted online. True to its claimed height. It was 1000php cheaper buying in a physical Christmas Shop. Easy to assemble. Doesn't look too cheap and still worth it.

  2. Christmas Garlands 8ft

    Worth it
    Price ₱1,200

They have tons of color selections. We got the red and gold color combination. It's about 8feet long but they also have a 4ft long one that's cheaper. The quality is better than most items found online. Price is the same as nearby shops and is like the standard.

  3. Christmas Colored Garlands

    Worth it
    Price ₱74

The colored Christmas garlands added the perfect festive touch to our home. The colors were vibrant. They were easy to hang and flexible enough to wrap around stair rails, windows, and shelves. The quality was surprisingly good for the price, with no shedding or unraveling. Overall, they brought warmth, cheer, and a classic holiday feel to every corner we decorated
