My Non-Negotiables — Pilates Girlie Edition
Hey girlies! 💕 As some of you already know (or now you do, hahaha 😅), I’ve been taking pilates classes for a few months now, and I wanted to share some must-haves to bring with you if you’re planning to start your pilates journey. These essentials will make your workout smoother and safer: 1. Headband– Keep your hair in place so it doesn’t get in the way while doing different poses. 2. Water Tumbler – Stay hydrated throughout your session. 💧 3. Grip Socks– A total must-have! Regular socks won’t cut it since they can be slippery. Grip socks help you stay stable and prevent accidents on the reformer. From my own experience, it’s also helpful to build up your cardio endurance before diving into pilates. This way, you won’t get tired too quickly during classes. I also recommend trying a reformer Fundamentals class first and it’s perfect for learning the basic terms, equipment parts, and proper form so you can follow instructions with ease. Pilates isn’t just a workout — it’s a lifestyle choice for health, balance, and overall well-being.
