Coming back at Sumo Niku for the Nth Time 🥢
Sharing my foodie review about Sumo Niku 🍢 💕 This used to be my ultimate go-to spot for unlimited Japanese BBQ (a.k.a. samgyup). I’ve been here with friends, family, my partner, even ex-friends and co-workers, basically, it has been part of so many chapters in my life. ✨ What I loved most? Their beef with teriyaki sauce (seriously addictive 😍) and that seaweed side dish I could never skip. The service is a bit of a hit-or-miss depending on the branch maybe a 6/10 on average but I kept coming back anyway because the food just gave me that happy comfort. Recently, though, they increased their prices (understandable with inflation, but still 🥲). And honestly, I feel like the taste and service have shifted a little too. My 10/10 fave is now more like a 7.5/10. Still, Sumo Niku will always hold a special place for me. I’ve made so many memories here, and even if things change (because they always do), it will always be one of those places that feels like a foodie time capsule. 💭🍴💕

Price ₱629Not badThe price increase makes me a little hesitant about wanting to go back to this place but they're still as good as ever. I personally love the seaweed but maybe over the time it wasn't as good as I remember it anymore. The meat is still good and tasty along with the sauces prepared. I would probably go here when it's craved but I think there are better options for its price range.
