Date Idea #6: Corgi Cafe 🐶

When Marc and I went to Siargao, he wasn't super excited about the beach, the night life, and the delicacies in Siargao. Do you know what he's most excited about? It's this corgi cafe in Cloud 9. The cafe is called Isla Corgis. He's so excited because according to him, he would see many Roti's 😂 (Roti is the name of his 6-year old corgi). We arrived in Cloud 9 around 2:30pm. The cafe opens at 3. While waiting, we strolled by the beach and watched people as they surfed. When we went back to the cafe, there was a line already 🙈 They can only accommodate 8-10 guests per batch. The next available time was 3:52. So we stayed there and waited for our turn na lang. To enter the cafe, we have to pay ₱350 which is inclusive of a drink and dog treats. I ordered the Salted Caramel while Marc had the Mocha Hazelnut. Both drinks were too sweet for my liking, I didn’t even bother to take photos. We thought we’re there for the dogs anyway 😊 When it was our turn, a girl oriented us about the do’s and don’ts, which dogs were friendly and which were sensitive, and what tricks they know. The dogs also have interesting names - Covy, Docy, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Bashy, Sneezy, and Dopey (Boy, the cafe owner must be a huge Snow White fan 😂). Despite his name, the dog that stood out was Sleepy. He was very friendly and he showed us all his tricks - Sit Pretty, High Five, and Play Dead. Our 40 minutes with the corgis was up, our hearts were full. I would recommend this cafe to all corgi lovers out there. Do not forget to include this in your itinerary when you visit Siargao. #DateIdeas #Siargao #DogCafe #Corgis
