Date Idea #5: Cat Cafes

One of my and Marc's favorite restaurants when we visit Cebu is Miau Cafe, a cat cafe located in the Bonifacio District. They're famous for their charming cats of different breeds - ranging from Maine Coon, Siamese, Persian, Sphynx, British Shorthair, and Puspin among many others. Upon arriving, we ordered some snacks and drinks. If my memory serves me right, we have to spend minimum ₱300 per person to be able to enter the cat area for 30 minutes. While waiting for our food, we went on and played with the cats. For safety purposes, we are required to wear a face mask and foot covers. You can buy from them as well. They also offer cat treats for ₱20 each so you can lure the cats towards you. I really enjoyed playing with the cats! I am soooo amazed at how big the Maine Coon was. Some cats were asleep, but the Puspin was especially friendly! As for the food, we ordered the chicken alfredo and it was soooo tasty and creamy! It’s the best I’ve tasted by far.
