I finally got to watch The Conjuring: Last Rites at Ayala Mall, and honestly, it felt like a mix of horror chills and bittersweet feels. Sitting there in the dark, every sudden bang and eerie whisper had me gripping my seat pero kahit ilang beses na akong tumalon sa gulat, I couldn’t look away. What made it even more special was knowing this was the last chapter for Ed and Lorraine Warren. Watching them fight one final haunting felt like saying goodbye to old friends I grew up screaming with on screen. The movie wasn’t perfect some parts dragged a little but the emotional pull was strong. Nakaka-teary din in a way, kasi you see how much love and faith kept them going through the darkest moments.
