Kdrama addict’s newest obsession: Bon Appétit, Your Majesty
I’ve been watching Bon Appétit, Your Majesty 👑🍲 on Netflix, and it quickly became one of my favorite dramas! The mix of time-slip fantasy and cooking as survival feels so fresh and unique. What really amazed me is how the cast pulled off their roles so well that their real ages — Im Yoon-ah (Yeon Ji-yeong) and Lee Chae-min (King Yi Heon) — didn’t even matter. Their chemistry is just so natural and believable! 💕 I love how Yeon Ji-yeong uses her modern cooking skills to survive in the palace, while King Yi Heon’s cold yet food-loving personality adds so much charm. And can we talk about the second lead love team, Gong Gil and Gil Geum? Their dynamic is super intriguing — but it also makes me curious about what Gong Gil’s true intentions really are. 👀 I also really like the character of Song Jae, the chief royal secretary, who totally acts like a cupid for Ji-yeong and the King. His supportive and witty presence makes their moments even more heart-fluttering! 💘 I just hope he’s truly on the King’s side. 🙏 One of my favorite scenes so far is in Episode 5, when the King tries to confess his feelings but instead blurts out, “It is because I am pleased with the food you prepare for me” 😂. And then that accidental fall together? Total kilig overload! 😍😍😍 The drama honestly gives me strong Mr. Queen vibes, with its perfect blend of humor, palace tension, and unpredictable twists. Now I’m beyond excited for Episode 7 to see how Ji-yeong, the King, and the palace rivals will clash next. 🥢✨ Definitely a must-watch for K-drama fans on Netflix! Who else is following along?
