A Helpful Labor Day Treat for Commuters

This year’s Labor Day holiday was made even more special when the government offered free MRT and LRT rides for one whole week. As a daily commuter, this initiative was a big help because it lessened my transportation expenses significantly. It wasn’t just me who benefited, but also thousands of hardworking employees all over the Philippines. It felt good to see everyone enjoying the free ridessmiles, lighter moods, and a sense of appreciation were in the air. The gesture was a simple yet meaningful way to recognize the efforts of Filipino workers. It also reminded us how small acts of support can make a big difference in people’s everyday lives.
