🍽️ Max's food review!
It was actually my first time eating at Max’s, and I have to say, I left genuinely impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, making the experience feel personal and welcoming. The restaurant itself has that classic, cozy vibe that makes you feel like you’re in good hands, ready for a satisfying meal. Every dish we tried had its own charm and character, and I loved how each one felt uniquely Filipino. - The Sweet and Sour Pork Rice Bowl (289) had thick-cut bacon cooked just right, crispy yet tender, coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce that made every bite comforting and flavorful. - The Crispy Pork Kawali Platter (469) was everything you’d hope for in a classic Filipino favorite—golden, crunchy pork belly paired with their signature liver sauce, offering that perfect combination of crispiness and rich flavor. - The Sizzling Tofu Sisig (419) was such a delightful surprise—crispy tofu cubes tossed in a creamy, slightly spicy sauce, served sizzling hot. It was a fantastic vegetarian twist on a beloved Filipino dish, and it didn’t disappoint at all. - And not to forget their Kamote Chips (58) served with brown sugar! its so simply yet so addictive, i could finish a whole platter all by myself! Honestly, it’s easy to see why Max’s has been a family favorite for generations—it’s the combination of warm, attentive service, comforting dishes, and that unmistakable sense of homegrown hospitality that just sticks with you.
