🌊 Ride Your Wave (2019) 🐬

This anime movie broke my heart in ways I didn’t expect, and I still feel the ache of it when I think about it. I loved how it started so bright and full of warmth, like summer love that felt endless, only for it to be taken away so suddenly. Watching Hinako and Minato together made me giddy at first, because their love was so pure and playful, the kind I always find myself daydreaming about. But when tragedy struck, it felt like someone pulled the ground out from under me, and I cried harder than I thought I would! ;;----;;; LIKE I KNEW THAT RELATIONSHIP'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! I found myself clinging to Hinako’s pain because I know what it feels like to lose something that once made you feel safe and whole. The scenes where she tried to move forward while still holding onto him hurt so much, yet they also showed me how love can stay with you, even after loss. It wasn’t just a sad story, it was also about healing and learning to ride the waves of life no matter how rough they get. I think that’s why it stuck with me, because it reminded me that even in heartbreak, we can still find a way to stand again. I love this movie so much. :((
