Love in Simple Ways

This was the time my partner visited me again and we went out to eat. I felt so happy because even though he was tired from work, he never forgets to come see me despite the distance between us. Life can be difficult and full of stress, but my heart feels at peace whenever I’m with him. What makes it even sweeter is that even if he doesn’t have much money, he still makes the effort to treat me just to make me happy. It’s touching because he always puts me first before himself, and that’s when I truly feel his love and effort. Our situation isn’t always easy, but moments like these make everything worth it. I’m also glad because sometimes he gets to spend time with my siblings and family, and they get to bond. It feels so comforting knowing my family accepts him. It really softens my heart seeing how much he does for me. With simple moments like this, I’m just so grateful to have him in my life.
