We ate at Marugame Udon in Glorietta 4, Makati last week, and I can honestly say it’s one of my favorites for a reason. Their udon noodles are perfectly chewy and springy, cooked fresh right in front of you, giving every bite that satisfying texture. The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of umami that warms you from the inside out. The beef topping was tender and savory, adding depth to every spoonful. I love how the flavors feel so comforting yet still light enough to enjoy until the very last bite. Aside from the taste, I enjoy the whole experience from watching them prepare the food to customizing my toppings.
