It's Okay to Outgrow People
There was a time when I couldn’t imagine life without certain people. Back in High School, I had a friend I talked to every single day we made plans for our futures like we'd always be side by side. But as I changed my interests, values, even my pace they stopped fitting into my world. I held on for a while, thinking loyalty meant staying the same. But the more I grew, the more I realized I was shrinking myself just to keep them close. It hurts, but walking away made room for healthier connections. We don’t have to carry everyone with us. Outgrowing isn’t rejection it’s realignment.
