Self Time is Not Selfish

There was a week recently when everything felt like too much messages piling up, back-to-back trainings, and zero space to just breathe. So I turned off my notifications, took myself out for coffee, and left my phone in my bag the whole time. At first, I felt a little selfish, like I was letting people down. But by the end of that quiet hour, I felt more grounded, more present even with myself. Sometimes, you need to step away to return stronger. Self-time isn’t selfish it’s how we stay whole.
