Regret Is A Quiet Companion 🎐

Regret is such a quiet thing. It lingers in the corners of your memory like a half-finished sentence or a song you once loved but no longer play. I think everyone has that one decision they wish they could rewrite. Maybe it was something we said or didn’t say or a moment we let slip because we were scared or unsure. For me, regret doesn’t shout. It hums in the background and shows up when I’m alone, reminding me of missed chances. But what I’ve learned is that regret can be soft too. It can teach. It can ask you to slow down, to try again, to become a gentler version of yourself. Letting go of regret is not about forgetting. It’s about choosing to live kindly despite the weight you once carried. It’s whispering to your past self, “You didn’t know better, but now you do.” And that’s something worth being proud of. #SelfCompassion #HealingJourney
