I used to think therapy was for people who were “really going through it.” I didn’t know that therapy could be for anyone who simply wants to understand themselves better. It’s not just about fixing problems. It’s about creating space to feel, explore, and grow. Like cleaning a room that’s been messy for years, not because someone’s judging it, but because you want to be able to breathe again. Therapy gave me words for things I didn’t know I was carrying. It helped me realize that feelings don’t have to be buried or ignored. They can be understood. They can be healed. And you don’t have to do it all alone. I know not everyone has access to therapy, and that breaks my heart. But I hope someday, it becomes something everyone can reach for when they need support. We all deserve to feel better.
