💫 Daytime Star (2022)

This webtoon stole my heart. I can’t explain how much I adore this story! it’s one of the best wholesome romance webtoons I’ve ever read. Yura Hwang isn’t your typical leading lady, she’s constantly overlooked and stuck in minor roles despite her talent and hard work. What I love about her is that never gives up, not even when everything feels stacked against her. Watching her slowly rise, bit by bit, felt so rewarding. Like I was cheering for a real friend. ｡:ﾟ(;´∩`;)ﾟ:｡ Her journey hit me hard, especially with that awful ex-boyfriend who tried to drag her down. I hated him so much, but it made watching Yura get her recognition even more satisfying. And then… there’s the ml, Seunghyeon. The top star. The literal greenest green flag. Their chemistry was so good, it had me squealing. He never once tried to dim her light. He supported her, saw her for who she was, and respected her dreams. The way he proposed?? SO SWEET. I was grinning like an idiot the entire time. ༼ᕗຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ 💗 I absolutely love her manager-friend too!!! Literal ride or die. Always there for her, always one call away. I loved their friendship so much. Every character felt like someone I could root for. (Except for that trashy ex) This webtoon is about believing in yourself, finding the right people, and realizing that even if you’re not in the spotlight right away, you still shine. I read it on the Webtoon app, and honestly, I’d read it again if I get an amnesia or something! 🍀
