Where I Find Emotional Safety
For me, feeling safe isn’t just about physical spaces but it’s about having people I can turn and lean to when things get heavy. I feel most emotionally safe when I’m with my family, especially when i'm with my siblings because whenever I’m dealing with a problem, they are the ones who listens, comforts me, and allows me to let it all out. You know what makes it even more comforting is knowing that I won’t be judged or criticized because I know that they don’t just tolerate my emotions but they really listen and show up for me and that kind of support creates a safe space where I can be honest and vulnerable without fear. Emotional safety, for me, is having people who let me be myself, especially during my toughest days. It’s what keeps me grounded, no matter what life throws at me.
