As someone who’s had both cats and dogs, I’ve really noticed how different cats are especially when it comes to independence. My cat, for example, doesn’t need constant attention or supervision. She does her own thing, finds her cozy spots, and comes to me when she wants affection not when she needs it. Unlike dogs, who often rely on you for everything from walks to constant companionship but don't get me wrong hehe I love my dogs but I just wanna share my observation as cats seem totally fine being left alone rather than dogs and I think cats are low-maintenance but still loving in their own quiet, calm way. I’ve learned to appreciate this kind of independence. It’s like having a little roommate who respects your space but still gives you cuddles when you need them most. That’s one of the many reasons why I think cats are truly special and a bit more independent than dogs.
