Raindrops and Campfire
Camping in the rain wasn’t part of the plan, but nature doesn’t exactly RSVP. The sound of rain tapping on my tent was oddly soothing at first.. a natural lullaby that made me feel more connected to the wild. Everything smelled fresh, earthy, and alive. The mist over the trees looked like something out of a movie, and sipping hot coffee under a tarp felt like a small victory. But I won’t lie.. wet socks are soul-crushing. Everything took longer, from starting a fire to cooking meals. My gear was damp no matter how careful I was, and I started questioning why I ever romanticized this kind of thing. Still, there was something rewarding about toughing it out and finding comfort in discomfort. Would I do it again? Maybe but with better waterproof gear. #CampingInTheRain #NatureTherapy #AdventureTime
