MANAM — A Meal To Remember (and re-order 🤭)

My family finally tried MANAM for the first time — and for the most part, this Filipino comfort cuisine did not disappoint! 💥🍴 — Pork Tocilog (Small – ₱305): Surprisingly generous serving! Juicy tocino, sweet caramelized onions, and the egg was perfectly cooked too. Sulit for its size! 7.5/10 — Sinigang na Baboy sa Sampaloc (Kasim) (Small – ₱255): Now this was comfort in a bowl. The sourness hit in all the right places, the pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and YES — one-time free refill on the soup!! 8.5/10 — Beef Belly Bulalo (Small – ₱325): Umami overload in the best way. Flavorful broth, marrow that melts, and tender beef chunks that make you stare at your bowl in disbelief. Soup refill couldn’t come fast enough 💀 9/10! — House Tofu Sisig (Small – ₱210): Sadly not for me 😅 The calamansi really overpowered everything, so if you like your sisig super sour, this might be your thing! The tofu was nice and crispy though, and topped with both fresh + fried green chilis. 4/10 (I still prefer my own recipe! 🤭) — Crispy Pork Kawali (Small – ₱265): Okay listen. This?? One of the best pork kawali I’ve ever had (aside from my Momsh’s ofc). Fall-apart tender, juicy pork with skin that’s impossibly crispy! Solid 10/10. Get. This. — Pancit Bihon (Medium – ₱350): A safe classic. Not super bold in flavor, but the toppings were generous and the noodles were perfectly cooked. 6/10 — Garlic Fried Rice (Large – ₱285): No complaints. Flavorful, fluffy, and the garlicky goodness tied everything together. 10/10. Would eat a plate of this on its own 😆 💬 How about you? I'd love to hear about your favorite dish! 💓
