Focused on Progress, Not Perfection
There was a time when I constantly compared myself to other people. Like I wanted to achieve what they had, reach their goals, and live their kind of success. But the more I compared, the more I felt like I wasn’t enough and it drained my confidence. Eventually, I realized that comparison wasn’t helping me grow. It was only holding me back. So, I started shifting my mindset. Instead of feeling insecure when others succeeded, I chose to be genuinely happy for them. Their success didn’t mean I was failing it just meant we were on different paths. Now, I focus on being myself and moving at my own pace. I’ve learned to stop measuring my journey against someone else’s. I go with the flow, stay grateful for what I have, and work on becoming a better version of me not a copy of someone else. Letting go of comparison has been freeing. It’s helped me find joy in the present and trust that my time will come, too.
