Always There. Always Yes 🤝

For a long time, I was the person who never said “no.” Like I took on extra work and constantly put others’ needs ahead of my own. I thought being available to everyone made me dependable but over time, it left me feeling exhausted, anxious, and resentful. I didn’t realize how much it was affecting my mental health until I hit a breaking point. Learning to set boundaries was uncomfortable at first. I felt guilty turning things down or asking for space. But the more I practiced, I had more energy, less stress, and fewer feelings of burnout. I realized that protecting my time and emotional energy wasn’t selfish. Letting go of unhealthy routine gave me room to grow and connect more deeply with people who respected my boundaries. Setting boundaries gave me back my peace of mind. It’s not about shutting people out it's about creating space for myself to breathe, recharge, and be well. And honestly, I’ve never felt more mentally balanced.
