I had one of those cravings that wouldnât go away, I needed steak. So I got to work in the kitchen. Seasoned the meat just right, let it sizzle in the pan until it had that perfect crust, then added garlic cloves to roast alongside it. The smell alone was already comforting. After letting it rest, I sliced into the steak and it is so tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The roasted garlic added a rich, mellow flavor, and the gravy I made on the side? Creamy, peppery, and the perfect finishing touch. Every bite hit just right. A simple meal, but deeply satisfying. Sometimes, thatâs all you really need and maybe a little wine on the side to wind down right.
