Difficult People đ
You ever meet someone who just makes a group project feel like a group punishment? Yeah⌠same. So we had this creative project [super exciting] we were making a fashion magazine, which meant planning a whole photoshoot. Everyone in the group was hyped, and we were all ready to try new roles, step out of our comfort zones, and work together. That was the plan... until one person decided she wanted to be the entire production team. Like literally photographer, stylist, hair and makeup, creative director, universe. Girl, chill. This is a group thing. Weâre all here to learn, not to be extras in your one-woman show. đŤ Fast forward to photoshoot dayâwe were all ready, everyone showed up⌠except her. And guess what? No warning, no heads up. Just a sudden "my head hurts, I canât come.â Girl WHAT? đŽâđ¨ She was assigned to be the makeup artist and illustrator. And honestly, we trusted her with the makeup part sheâs really good at it, so it just made sense to let her take the lead so we relied on her to deliver. But then she suddenly bailed. Now hereâs the kicker: when she got confronted (gently, I might add)by a fellow groupmate, she had the audacity to raise her voice and act like she carried the whole project just because she drew a few sketches of the clothes. Like?? Sis. I did the photography, makeup, post-editing, and didnât even say a word. And you canât even ask how the shoot went? No sorry? No accountability? Just⌠vibes and volume? Itâs wild how some people think doing one thing gives them a free pass to be inconsiderate to everyone else. Collaboration means working together not dominating, disappearing, and then demanding praise. But hey, lessons learned. Difficult people will always exist but how we respond to them shows who we really are. Iâm just proud of how our group handled it. We stayed calm, stayed united, and still made it happen. ⨠And next time? Weâre making a Plan B and a filter for drama queens.
