Small Light: Stll Burning
There’s a small light inside me that just wants to be noticed. Not admired, not clapped for, just seen. Some days it glows steady, like it’s finally safe to be real. Other days, it flickers under the weight of all the versions of me I think I’m supposed to be. I’ve spent years learning how to be easy to be around. How to dim myself just enough to make sure no one looks too closely. But lately, I’m craving the opposite. I want to show up unpolished. With questions, with cracks, with softness that doesn’t always make sense. I want to be seen when I’m not performing. Just me, as I am.
