šŸ’Œ My Cosplay Journey

I remember when I was about 11 years old, I took my mom’s BB cream and my sister’s eyeshadow palette. I scraped purple eyeshadow and mixed it on the back of my hand, smeared it all over my face while beaming proudly at my creation—and ran around the house screaming, ā€œI’m Ursula! I’m Ursula!ā€ That moment was when I first fell in love with makeup. It was the first time I felt something entirely new—something thrilling and freeing. The idea that you could completely transform yourself, inside and out, with nothing but products and tools you’re free to play with. It sparked my creativity and challenged my imagination. I started using things I find around the house that otherwise would go to the trash to make makeshift prosthetics and costumes. I learned to mix my own colors, invent new characters in the mirror—I felt unstoppable. And as I grew, that love for cosplay only grew with me. It shaped the way I dress and handle makeup to this day. Fashion and makeup to me is not just something to enhance beauty, It is a medium for storytelling, for expressing, for becoming. Every eyeliner stroke, every layer, every piece, every texture—I treat them all like part of a character, a narrative I get to tell. Looking back, I couldn’t be more grateful to my childlike imagination. While other little girls dreamed of being princesses, I wanted to be a powerful, purple-skinned goddess. And I think that says everything you need to know about who I am. šŸššŸ’œ
