Echoes in a Full Room

Loneliness isn’t always silence. Sometimes it’s loud rooms, shared laughter, and still feeling like no one really sees you. I’ll speak, and it’s like my words float out, then echo right back. Maybe it was heard, but not felt. Most of the time, I try to ignore that feeling. Scrolled past it. Slept through it. Laughed over it. But lately, I’ve been learning to stay. To listen to the ache instead of running from it. Because that ache usually means I’m longing for something real, soft, deep, and honest. And I think that kind of longing deserves space. It deserves kindness. It deserves to be honored.
