My Kind of Unwinding

Hii girlies! After a long day or week, I find that the best way to relax is by indulging in a few simple pleasures that always lift my spirits. For me, unwinding is all about treating myself to things that bring genuine happiness — whether that’s a little retail therapy, savoring my comfort food, or diving into a good book šŸ«¶šŸ» First, there’s the thrill of buying something small but meaningful (I just needed a wired earpods hahaha) but doesn’t have to be extravagant; sometimes just a little purchase that feels like a personal reward makes all the difference. It’s my way of celebrating the little wins and reminding myself to enjoy the moment. Then, there’s food — specifically my go-to comfort dish: salmon sashimi. There’s something about the fresh, silky texture and clean flavors that instantly calms me and feels like a treat to my senses. Eating it slowly, savoring every bite, is a peaceful ritual that helps me reset (masaya to if nasa buffet para sulit!!) Finally, nothing beats curling up with a great book. Whether it’s fiction that whisks me away to another world or non-fiction that sparks new ideas, reading is my favorite mental escape. It helps me slow down, focus on something enjoyable, and recharge creatively. Together, these simple acts create a little bubble of happiness that makes unwinding feel truly special.
