Mirror
Looking at myself is complicated. Not just physically, but emotionally. Some days, I can see the parts I’ve worked hard to grow into. The strength, kindness, humor. Other days, all I see are the things I’m still trying to fix. The flaws I’ve been trained to notice first. The parts I hope no one else sees. But I’m realizing the mirror isn’t the enemy, it’s the story I tell myself while looking into it. And that story can change. I don’t need to love every part of me to respect them. I just need to stop looking at myself like I’m a problem to be solved. I’m not broken. I’m becoming.
