Mang Inasal Family Feast

Whenever I eat at Mang Inasal, it always feels like home. There’s something about the aroma of the grilled chicken and the familiar smoky flavor that brings comfort and joy—simple, flavorful, and satisfying. This time, I went all out with a box of their signature Chicken Inasal and Pork BBQ over a generous bed of golden java rice. The chicken was cooked just right—tender, juicy, with that classic inasal char that hits different with every bite. It’s perfectly marinated, and dipping it into their special mix of vinegar, soy sauce, and calamansi just took it to another level. The BBQ sticks were just as good—sweet, savory, a little crispy on the edges, and loaded with tender pork bits that went so well with the rice. It was the kind of meal that made everyone around the table quiet—because we were too busy enjoying! What made it even better was the laid-back, barkadahan feel of eating Mang Inasal food. You don’t need anything fancy—just good food, good company, and a refill of rice (yes, always sulit with unli rice when dining in!). Overall, Mang Inasal never disappoints. Whether it’s a regular day or a simple celebration, it delivers that “lutong bahay na may ihaw-sarap” feeling every single time. Can’t wait for my next craving to bring me back.
