Social Media Got Me Messed Up

It’s crazy how we’re all so connected, yet everyone feels alone. You post a story and 300 people view it but can’t even reply to a “hi” or ask how you’re doing? Social media turned into this performance stage. We’re all curating a version of ourselves that’s digestible, aesthetic, likable, but real? Not really. I miss the days when we posted grainy pics and overshared our moods in captions. Now it’s filters, soft launches, and pretending we’re “thriving” while crying over life in private. It’s fake. It’s tiring. I’m over it.
