Boracay's Sleepiest Local

While walking through a small shop in Boracay, I stumbled upon this cat—fast asleep on a table, right beside rows of soda and beer bottles, completely unbothered by the world around her. There was something so effortlessly peaceful about her presence, as if she owned the place… or maybe just didn’t care who did. In that moment, I felt a kind of envy. Here I was, surrounded by all the energy and noise that comes with a beach town, and yet this cat had mastered what most of us struggle with—rest. Real, undisturbed rest. She didn’t need a soft bed or perfect conditions. Just a table, some shade, and the comfort of being where she felt safe. She reminded me to slow down and soak in the moment.
