Food addiction isn’t just about bingeing it’s about the emotional relationship you have with what you eat. For me, it used to be late-night snacks I didn’t even taste anymore. I wasn’t eating because I was hungry. I was eating because I felt empty in other ways. And while it’s okay to love food (it’s culture, celebration, joy!), it’s important to notice when it starts controlling your emotions or routine. The key is balance, eating to nourish, not just numb. If food feels like your main comfort, maybe your heart’s asking for something deeper, rest, connection, or healing. Food should be a friend, not a fix.
