🄦How to Actually Take Care of Yourself

Being healthy isn’t about being skinny or drinking green juice every day. It’s about building little habits that make you feel good, inside and out. Think: eating food that fuels you, moving your body out of love (not hate), and sleeping like it's your full-time job. šŸŒæšŸ’§ For me, health clicked when I stopped thinking of it as punishment and started thinking of it as respect. I don’t go on guilt-trips anymore for skipping a workout. I drink water because my brain works better. I take walks because fresh air is free therapy. Health also means mental and emotional wellness. Journaling, saying ā€œno,ā€ turning off my phone, laughing more, all of it counts. Your body is your home, and your mind is the garden. Nurture both. You don’t have to go extreme to be healthy.
