My first ISAA League experience... and we took home 1st Runn

Representing La Consolacion College Manila in the ISAA Volleyball Tournament has been one of the most unforgettable moments in my student-athlete life. It was my first time playing in this league, and to stand on that court—nervous, excited, and proud—was already a win in itself. This journey wasn't all smooth sailing. There were days when I felt physically drained, mentally tired, and emotionally challenged. Early morning trainings, late-night study sessions, body aches, bruises, and yes, even moments when I questioned if I could really keep going. Balancing academics and athletics is never easy. There were times I barely had the energy to even open my notes after a long day of drills and scrimmages. But I showed up. Every single time. Because I knew this was more than just about winning—this was about growth, commitment, and heart. 💪 There were also moments of doubt and pressure—trying to prove myself, trying to find my rhythm in a new league, and trying to live up to the expectations of wearing my school’s name on my jersey. But every step of the way, I had my teammates, coaches, and mentors behind me. We trained hard, pushed each other to our limits, and built a bond that made every challenge worth it. This medal is more than just silver—it’s a symbol of all the early mornings, the sacrifices, the sweat, the tears, and the strength it took to get here. I’ll always be grateful to LCCM for giving me this opportunity to play, to grow, and to represent our school with pride. To the younger me who once doubted her own abilities—look at us now. We made it. 🥹💙 1st Runner-Up, and forever proud. This is just the beginning. #ISAASeason16 #StudentAthleteLife #LaConsolacionCollegeManila #Volleyball
