Real Review

My rice switch that worked. 🍚

To all the girls on low carb who still can’t let go of rice, same! I’ve always loved rice (like, real love) but my body just doesn’t respond well to it. Eventually, I had to find an alternative that wouldn’t feel like a sad replacement. That’s when I started eating Shirataki rice, and honestly? It changed everything. No exaggeration here. I’ve been eating this for almost a year now. I even buy mine from Little Retail PH since they’re FDA-approved and super reliable. It’s part of my everyday routine now. When I made the switch from white rice to shirataki, I didn’t expect much. But paired with exercise, I went from 58kg to 55kg in just a month. And the best part? I could still enjoy rice with zero guilt. ✨ Fun fact: Shirataki rice is made from konjac root flour (also called glucomannan), which is high in fiber and very low in calories. It helps with digestion, keeps you full longer, and doesn’t cause bloating, which I personally love. Cooking it is also super easy. You just boil it in water, wait 7–10 minutes, and it’s done. No need for complicated prep or extra steps. I’m sharing this because I know how hard it is to give up the food you love when you’re trying to feel better in your body. If you’re looking for something healthier but still comforting, this is it.
