Traditional Filipiniana Look

I was tasked to make a traditional Filipiniana look and OMG, I’m actually having so much fun doing it! 🧵✨ The butterfly sleeves are literally making my life hard right now like hello, engineering ba ‘to??? But lowkey, I’m loving the challenge. There’s something so fulfilling about figuring it out and seeing it slowly come together. Tbh, in fashion, I feel like we should never forget our roots. Lately, everything's been about streetwear, Y2K, and modern silhouettes (which I love too, don’t get me wrong!), but sometimes it’s refreshing to go back and appreciate the beauty of traditional Filipino looks. And who says you can’t mix both? Traditional doesn’t mean outdated it just means we’re reinterpreting it for now. Culture + creativity = chef’s kiss. 😌🇵🇭✨
